How to Use the Event Countdown Calculator

1. Name your event — Type a descriptive label such as “Product Launch” or “Summer Vacation” in the Event Name field.
2. Pick a date and time — Use the date/time picker to set the exact moment you’re counting down to. Time precision gives you hours, minutes, and seconds on top of days.
3. Use a preset — Click any of the quick-preset chips (New Year, Christmas, Halloween, etc.) to instantly load that event.
4. Click “Start Countdown” — The display updates every second with days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining.
5. Track progress — The progress bar shows what percentage of time has elapsed since you started tracking.
6. Add to list — Click + Add to List to save multiple events and see them sorted by date with live day counts.
7. Share your countdown — Click Share Link to copy a URL that opens this page pre-loaded with your event. Great for sharing with a team or on social media.
8. Past dates — If you enter a date that has already passed, the tool shows “X days ago” instead.
9. Confetti at zero — When the countdown reaches exactly zero, a confetti animation fires automatically.
